Toforan frame drum - beautifully hand made by David Nuttall

Designed by Terl Bryant, this is an amazing frame drum that can be mounted on the kit to be played with sticks, or hand held (pandeiro or bodhran style) using a variety of hand, finger and short stick (tipper) techniques. It takes its name from the biblical drum 'Tof' (Hebrew), it has deep warm tones and is complimented by two rows of brass jingles. The drum is fitted with a Remo Fiberskyn3 head that is tunable and replaceble. It has a wood hoop, support bar and multi clamp fitting for mounting on the kit.
