"The Psalm Drummers are pioneers. They show that rhythm is woven into the fabric of our humanity, and when taken up by the Spirit, can be a powerful means of prayer, worship, witness and education in a post modern culture. They are reaching hundreds of people who otherwise will have nothing to do with the Church. They deserve every support."

    Mission india (by Terl Bryant)

Our first Mission trip to Hyderabad, India was in March 07. Friends at UK charity ‘Agape Alive’ invited me to travel out with a small team of Psalm Drummers.

Tom Gregory (Bridge Fellowship, Southampton), Matt Collison (Point Church, West Sussex) and Noel Pattern (New Frontiers, Ipswich) travelled with me.

Together we raised over £1500 to take and sow into the mission and work out there.

100_2006.JPGWe spent a week in the Hyderabad area during which we served children at the church schools and orphanage, spent time teaching and ministering to local pastors, teaching in the Agape Bible school, and ministering to the sick and needy both in Manoor (an ‘untouchable’ village), and in the local church home groups. We also bought instruments to leave for the students at the orphanage and bible school.

It was truly a very special week - and an honour to share in all the wonderful things God is doing there. We so enjoyed connecting with people using our drums, but by far the greatest blessing was seeing the touch of God upon many as we prayed for every kind of need to be met.

s7002362.JPGI want to thank you again for your prayers and to those who supported the mission financially. Please help us as we plan to go again in the Spring 2008
