The Psalm Drummers Summer School 2008 will be held at St George’s School Windsor Castle which is within the castle walls and whose choristers have served St George’s Chapel, the Queen’s chapel, since 1348. Nesting below the castle’s walls, the school’s beautiful buildings and grounds have tennis courts, a football pitch and has ample room to take yourself away from all the buzz, to drink in this majestic royal setting.

The school is opposite Windsor & Eton Riverside train station which has direct trains from London Waterloo (journey time 45 minutes) and is located in the heart of Windsor town centre just seconds walk from shops, restaurants, bars, pubs, coffee shops & the River Thames.
Legoland is only 3 miles away, Thorpe Park 10 miles and Savil Gardens & 9,000 acres of Windsor Great Park are just the other side of the castle.
St George’s School Windsor Castle has it’s own small car park which we are giving priority to participants on the drum kit course. The school is surrounded by many of the town centre car parks. Windsor situated 20 miles west of London and is just outside the M25 and served by junctions junctions 5 & 6 of the M4.
Windsor is served by two train stations; Windsor Central - 5 minutes walk from the school (shuttle train to Slough then direct trains from London Paddington & the west), Windsor & Eton Riverside - opposite school (direct trains from London Waterloo).
London Heathrow Airport is 15 minutes drive.
Accommodation
The Psalm Drummers Summer School Windsor Castle 2008 is non-residential. As Windsor is one of the UK’s main tourist desinations, there are plenty of B&Bs, guesthouses & hotels of all price ranges within walking distance of the castle.

As Windsor is only 20 miles to the West of London and just outside the M25, you may decide to be a ‘day tripper’ and go home each evening.
