23rd Jan - Stepping Beyond (experimental music and arts night) at City Gate Church with Paul Twelftree (playing Ableton Live, trumpet and percussion) and Manny Oguniyyi (playing congas) alongside Andy Au and the Movement in Worship team.

Tracking drums for Stefano Ianne and playing with Laurence Sharman, Graham Kendrick and a cool band for The Presence at Birmingham NEC.

Collected my splendid new Mapex drums from Korg UK (Big thanks to Martin, Duncan and all the boys and girls at Mapex China). Thanks also to Dave Eyre at Hardcase for the new cases, and Matt Connors and Gary Mann at REMO for some lovely black suede heads for it. Nice!

Busy recording, editing tracks for Audio Network release.

Sept 2009

Tracking drums for John de Jong and Nick Beggs in my studio, and working on some new commercial music material. Loving Ableton Live 8.. here's a clip from a track called 'Deeper in'.(click to listen) and this is a 24bit WAV of the drum sound I've been getting (no EQ). LISTEN.

Had a good day down at Paul Burton's G2 Studios with Mark Edwards working on stuff for Olwen Ringrose.

Also joining John de Jong for concerts in Lancs 26/27 Sept (Foxhill Retreat Centre, nr Chester)

July 2009

The Colours Fest CZ 9 July with RED DRUM was a great success. I was joined by Jerry Brown (Girls Aloud, Will Young) and Harry 'Hands' Morgan (BIlly Ocean, Phil Collins) to play a 60 min set at the festival. Here are a few pictures. 
Knock Festival, Co Mayo - two great days with Simon Edwards (Psalm Drummers, Ireland) doing workshops in a stunning part of Ireland.

The Psalm Drummers Central London Gathering July 18th was attended by more than 50 linked to the PD vision. Group hosts led various sessions with special guest Ed Freitas closing the day leading an inspiring drum-circle clinic.

We had a great 'Rhythms of Fire' weekend 24/26 April at Lee Abbey many thanks to Mark Jones, Mark Green, Matt Hains, Frank and Marlou Van Essen who joined me as the Psalm Drummer team.

I had the honour of sitting with Jonathan Veira and John Moore on the panel as ajudicator for the Leighton Park School, Music competition. Also got to play with old friend Simon Nelson (Nelson Brothers) in London

1st Feb The Rhythmns of Fire band performed and led the evening at The Point Church, Sussex. The drummers were Harry Morgan, Jerry Brown, Mikey Randon, Ed Freitas, Matt Collison, Mark Jones, Ken Murray and Dale Marklewwith Stu Barbour, Jules Bryant, Nick Harding and Phil Barker.
